What happens if I lose my device that has Hardware Signer (HWS) enabled?

Don’t panic. The Hardware Signer’s biometric features, like fingerprint or face ID, ensure strong security against unauthorized access. To regain control of your account, follow these steps:

1. Use your seed phrase to recover your account.
2. Navigate to the account settings.
3. Go to “Account security”.
4. Choose ‘Seed Signer’ as your new signer.
5. Click on “Request to remove HWS”.
6. Sign the transaction to confirm.

Remember, there’s a 4-day delay for the removal of the Hardware Signer. Once it’s removed, you’ll regain full access to both your account and your funds.
