I uninstalled and reinstalled Braavos and can’t sign transactions. How do I regain access to my funds?

If your account used the Hardware Signer (2FA) and you’ve reinstalled Braavos, you won’t be able to sign transactions because the HWS key was stored on your old device and cannot be recovered.

To remove the 2FA Hardware Signer:

1. Navigate to the account settings.
2. Go to “Starknet Account security”.
3. Uncheck the Hardware Signer box.
4. Choose ‘Seed Signer’ as your new signer.
5. Click ‘No’ when asked “Have access to sign on your mobile”.
6. Sign the request transaction to confirm. Remember, there’s a 4-day delay for the removal of the Hardware Signer.
