How to receive Bitcoin in Braavos from Phantom Wallet?

This article walks you through how to send Bitcoin (BTC) from your Phantom Wallet to your Braavos wallet. With Phantom now supporting native Bitcoin, transferring funds between wallets is straightforward.

How to receive Bitcoin in Braavos from Phantom?

Transferring BTC from Phantom to Braavos can be done in just a few steps.

Phantom on mobile

  1. Open the Phantom app and log in.
  1. Tap Bitcoin Native SegWit network you wish to use.
  1. Tap Send.
  2. Open the Braavos app, tap Receive, and copy your BTC address.
  1. Paste the address into the recipient field in Phantom.
  1. Enter the amount of BTC to send and tap Next.
  2. Review the transaction summary, including token amount and network.
  3. Tap Send to initiate the transaction.
  4. If required, authorize the transaction with your device’s security.

Your BTC will be sent to Braavos after confirmation on the Bitcoin network.

Phantom on desktop

  1. Open the Phantom browser extension and unlock your wallet.


  2. Click on your Bitcoin Native SegWit


  3. Click Send.
  4. In Braavos, click Receive and copy your Bitcoin address.
  1. Paste the address into Phantom’s recipient field.
  2. Enter the amount of BTC you wish to send and click Next.
  3. Verify the token amount and network.
  4. Click Send to complete the transfer.
  5. Authorize the transaction if prompted.
  6. Complete any security prompts, if needed.

Once the transaction is confirmed, the Bitcoin will appear in your Braavos wallet.

How to Get Your Braavos BTC Address for CEX Withdrawals?

When withdrawing to Braavos, always select the Bitcoin (BTC) network using a Native SegWit address (bech32 format starting with “bc1”).

Other options are not supported. Using an unsupported network can lead to permanent loss of funds.

To receive your address, tap the Receive button in Braavos and copy your Bitcoin Native SegWit address.

You can now paste this address into Phantom.
