How do I receive Bitcoin in Braavos from Xverse?

You can move your BTC from Xverse to Braavos using a standard on-chain Bitcoin transfer.

Xverse on mobile

  1. Open the Xverse mobile app and unlock your wallet.
  1. Select Bitcoin (BTC) as the asset and tap Send.
  1. In the Braavos app, tap Receive and copy your Bitcoin address.
  1. Paste the address into the recipient field in Xverse and click Next
  1. Enter the amount of BTC to send and click Next
  1. Review all transaction details, and click Confirm.

Your Bitcoin will be sent to your Braavos wallet and appear after blockchain confirmation.

Xverse browser extension

  1. Open the Xverse mobile app and unlock your wallet.
  1. Select Bitcoin (BTC) as the asset and tap Send.
  1. In the Braavos app, tap Receive and copy your Bitcoin address.
  1. Paste the address into the recipient field in Xverse and click Next
  1. Enter the amount of BTC to send and click Next
  1. Review all transaction details, and click Confirm.

The transaction will be processed on the Bitcoin network. Your BTC will show up in Braavos shortly after confirmation.

How to Get Your Braavos BTC Address for CEX Withdrawals?

When withdrawing to Braavos, always select the Bitcoin (BTC) network using a Native SegWit address (bech32 format starting with “bc1”).

Other options are not supported. Using an unsupported network can lead to permanent loss of funds.

To receive your address, tap the Receive button in Braavos and copy your Bitcoin Native SegWit address.

You can now paste this address into Xverse.
